Fire fortellinger
by Lars Fredrik Frøislie
Wobbler keyboardist Lars Fredrik Frøislie's solo debut, 'Fire fortellinger', is a large-scale work of symphonic progressive rock structured around four distinct narrative compositions sung in his native Norwegian. The album's sound is dominated by an extensive arsenal of vintage analog keyboards—including Hammond organ, Mellotron, and Minimoog—which Frøislie uses to build complex, dynamic soundscapes reminiscent of 1970s prog. A primarily solo effort where Frøislie performs vocals and drums in addition to keyboards, the album's arrangements are intricate and melodic, blending classic progressive rock with Scandinavian folk influences.
