This live recording documents a collaborative performance where the iconic multimedia artist reinterprets her earlier electronic works through the lens of a jazz quartet. Steven Bernstein’s brass arrangements provide a brassy, noir-inflected foundation for spoken word narratives and violin solos. The tracks focus on deconstructing 1980s avant-pop compositions through spontaneous improvisation and organic textures.
