Intended originally as their final studio recording before entering a prolonged hiatus, the German duo delivered a masterclass in deeply atmospheric, synthesized black metal. The project relies on chilling, repetitive tremolo riffs and sweeping dark ambient layers to evoke an overwhelmingly cold and nocturnal forest environment.
