Magic Spirit Quartet

The Moroccan multi-instrumentalist collaborates with a group of talented Scandinavian jazz musicians to form the 'Magic Spirit Quartet'. The resulting record is an incredibly fluid, organic fusion of traditional North African Gnawa rhythms and progressive European jazz improvisation. Bekkas's mastery of the guembri drives the hypnotic, deeply spiritual grooves throughout the album.
