Written and recorded during the height of the global pandemic under the assumption that the material would never be performed live. This allowed the Canadian trio to craft an incredibly relaxed, intricate blend of lounge-oriented synthpop and soft indie rock without worrying about translating the complex textures to a stage. The result is a profoundly soothing, late-night listen marked by its velvety basslines and hushed vocals.
