The eccentric Colombian ensemble, masterminded by Eblis 脕lvarez, presents an incredibly layered conceptual album that resurrects the sound of 1970s 'salsa dura'. The project is credited to a fictional, forgotten musical group ('El Grupo Renacimiento'), allowing 脕lvarez to meticulously recreate vintage Afro-Latin rhythms while injecting his signature surreal, avant-garde sensibilities.
