Originally conceived as a dub companion to his vocal tracks, 'African Anthem' heavily features sound effects, custom jingles, and samples from Mikey Dread's popular "Dread at the Controls" radio show on JBC. The mix constructs an immersive, broadcast-style atmosphere that expanded the traditional boundaries of Kingston studio engineering.
