Fairytales of Slavery
by Miranda Sex Garden
Originally formed as an a cappella madrigal trio, the group radically mutated their sound by incorporating pounding industrial percussion and walls of harsh, gothic guitar feedback. The album effectively merged their soaring, classically trained vocal harmonies with an aggressive, noisy post-punk framework, creating a deeply unsettling and theatrical listening experience.
