The sophomore effort from the Olympia, Washington quartet solidifies their terrifying grasp on subterranean, incredibly dense death-doom metal. Foregoing high speeds for agonizingly slow, suffocating riffs and cavernous guttural vocals, the project sounds as if it were recorded entirely within a decaying crypt. The incredibly heavy, atmospherically grim release made them undisputed titans of the modern Pacific Northwest metal underground.
