Compiling a beloved series of twelve-inch vinyl releases, Danilo Plessow's masterclass in dusty, sample-heavy house music singlehandedly reinvigorated the genre. Produced largely on an Akai MPC sampler, the tracks loop forgotten soul and disco vocal fragments over deeply swinging, unquantized rhythms and warm analog basslines. The collection is universally regarded as a defining, timeless cornerstone of 21st-century deep house.
