Bursting out of the burgeoning Finnish underground, this debut album heavily established the gothic rock and coldwave movements within the Nordic region. 'Peilitalossa' is driven by relentless, motorik drumming, heavily flanged basslines, and Jyrki Toukokuu's deeply dramatic, melancholic vocal delivery.
