Following her solo debut, Natalia Lafourcade formed the band La Forquetina for this singular studio album. 'Casa' showcases a more collective, rock-oriented sound, differentiating itself from her previous work with fuller band arrangements and a more democratic creative process. The album, produced by Emmanuel del Real of Café Tacvba, won the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
