Conceived as an alter-ego project by Tricky, the record features extensive collaborations with vocalists like Björk, Neneh Cherry, and Terry Hall. The production aggressively deconstructs trip-hop elements into a murky, abrasive blend of post-industrial textures and illbient atmosphere. It remains a fascinatingly challenging detour that explores the darkest, most avant-garde instincts of his 1990s output.
