Released as a free download to inaugurate the very first global 'Piano Day', the German composer recorded this intimate session on the massive Klavins M370 upright piano. Standing at 3.7 meters tall, the unique instrument produces incredibly deep, resonant bass tones and striking clarity. The single-take, largely improvised compositions are beautifully slow, tender, and deeply contemplative.
