The album's themes juxtapose the 'Sea of Trees' as a thriving, sound-absorbing ecosystem against its historical reputation as a home for yūrei and its modern association with suicide. The resulting atmosphere evokes a deep sense of solitude, mirroring the forest's unsettling reputation and unique geology.
