Predating the IDM and glitch movements by several years, 'Plux Quba' utilizes primitive samplers and an 8-track recorder to build intricate, fragmented electroacoustic compositions. Nuno Canavarro's pioneering tape manipulation created a surreal, microscopic soundscape filled with warm, stuttering blips and disjointed vocal loops.
