Alex Paterson drastically shifted away from the massive, sample-heavy commercial success of 'U.F.Orb' toward significantly denser, far less accessible ambient-dub territories. The sprawling, deeply hypnotic compositions rely heavily on complex, muddy bass sequences, obscure natural field recordings, and incredibly slow, repetitive trance rhythms. The intensely psychedelic, earthy atmosphere alienated casual listeners but secured high praise from underground electronic purists.
