The South Korean composer utilizes traditional acoustic instruments, specifically the piri (bamboo oboe), saenghwang (mouth organ), and yanggeum (hammered dulcimer), to construct deeply modern minimalist works. The entirely instrumental album conceptually revolves around the interaction of light and architecture, resulting in a sparse, intensely meditative listening experience.
