Wanting Machine II

On his second solo album, 'Wanting Machine II', guitarist Peter Rom constructs a self-described hallucinatory soundscape inspired by the malleable, uncertain literary worlds of Kafka. The compositions, featuring a core trio alongside guest horns and winds, merge a rock-influenced approach with avant-garde drum beats, theremin, and experimental harmonies where instrument sounds frequently blur and transform. Intended to function as a sonic hologram, the music continuously shifts in texture and form to create a hypnotic and immersive experience.
