Island Family

A deeply personal work, 'Island Family' reflects on themes of mortality, belonging, and the strange push-and-pull between a secluded island life and the demands of the outside world. The album juxtaposes its weighty subject matter with a vibrant and eclectic sonic palette, blending shimmering synthesizers with more organic instrumental textures. Created once again on the Isle of Eigg, it explores the dualities of isolation and community, presenting one of Johnny Lynch's most emotionally resonant and musically ambitious statements.
