Thom Wasluck's profoundly isolating solo project delivers an overwhelmingly heavy, emotionally devastating convergence of slowcore and doom metal. The blown-out, lo-fi drum machines and suffocatingly thick guitar textures create an atmosphere of pure, suffocating grief, punctuated by his distant, agonized vocal wails buried deep within the muddy mix.
