Arriving almost a decade after their collaborative debut, the duo comprised of Liz Harris (Grouper) and Jefre Cantu-Ledesma constructed this album from fragments recorded in a remote desert setting. It is a profoundly melancholic, meditative collection of tape loops, field recordings, and softly decaying synthesizers that serves as a tribute to a departed mutual friend.
