Named after a mythical Persian horse, the Iranian-Dutch artist frames her sophomore album entirely around the grueling process of emotional and physical healing. Completely self-produced with collaborator Mucky, the instrumentation relies heavily on sweeping strings, trip-hop percussion, and dark electronic textures. The album cover poignantly depicts the artist with a bruised eye, symbolizing survival and resilience.
