The alter-ego of British composer Stephen Evens, this highly ambitious album abandons the harsh glitch-electronics of his previous work for a massive, acoustic chamber-pop aesthetic. Featuring a 13-piece brass and wind ensemble, the music is incredibly dense and theatrical, providing a sophisticated, avant-garde backdrop for his heavily accented, hyper-literate spoken-sung vocal delivery. It is a wildly eccentric gem of modern art-pop.
