Spacemen 3 co-founder Peter Kember continues to explore his obsessions with vintage synthesizers, drone, and hallucinogenic repetition on Spectrum's second full-length. The album softens the abrasive noise of his earlier work, favoring incredibly dense, narcotic ambient pop textures that heavily bridged the gap between shoegaze and 1990s electronic music.
