Forms of Paper

As a seminal text in the 'lowercase' music movement, this project derives its entire sonic palette from heavily amplified and digitally processed recordings of paper. Roden manipulates the sounds of rustling, tearing, and folding into a microscopic, barely audible ambient landscape, forcing the listener to engage deeply with the subtleties of silence and extreme minimalism.
