Cameron Stallones's debut album firmly established his deeply submerged, dub-influenced approach to psychedelic rock. Built heavily upon repetitive tape loops, swampy basslines, and heavily echoed vocal chants, the music creates a humid, trance-inducing atmosphere that mimics a hallucinogenic tropical heatstroke. The record laid vital groundwork for the Los Angeles hypnagogic pop and cassette underground movements.
