Heavy Deeds

Cameron Stallones's third album under the Sun Araw moniker is an incredibly deep, swampy dive into dub-inflected psychedelic rock. The recording is caked in thick, lo-fi tape hiss, slowly building massive, trance-inducing grooves anchored by distorted guitar loops and heavily echoed vocal chants. It remains a definitive, deeply hypnotic cornerstone of the Los Angeles weird-punk and hypnagogic pop movements.
