Formed by Robert Andersson following the dissolution of his acclaimed death metal outfit Morbus Chron, Sweven pushes entirely into ethereal, progressive territories. The project completely removes the aggressive edges of traditional death metal, prioritizing dreamlike, atmospheric melodies, acoustic interludes, and sprawling 1970s psychedelic rock structures. It represents a brave, highly successful evolution into transcendent, philosophical metal.
