Album Notes & Community Reviews

'A Life on Hold' is a 10-track album by London trio Tears|Ov, founded in 2015 and built on structured improvisation, loops, field recordings and speech samples. The record takes corporate hold music as its starting point, expanding the insincere corporate apology embedded in low-quality hold music into wider musings on a collective life on hold and on ready-mades from mainstream media. It was previewed live at London's IKLECTIK in September 2026, and its first single was 'Narrow Valley'.
