Living up to its name, Teitanblood's 'Death' is a suffocating, chaotic maelstrom of black/death metal. The Spanish band strips away almost all melody in favor of relentless blasting, cavernous riffs, and ritualistic atmosphere. It is an overwhelming, primitive sonic assault that aims to embody the terrifying finality of death itself.
