'Grab That Gun' is the sole studio album from the Vancouver-based quintet The Organ, comprised of Katie Sketch, Jenny Smyth, Debora Cohen, Shelby Stocks, and Ashley Webber. The album is a concise work of post-punk and jangle-pop, characterized by the interplay between glistening, chorus-effected guitars, the prominent melancholic warmth of a Hammond organ, and Sketch's aloof, doleful vocals. Exploring themes of isolation, romantic turmoil, and emotional malaise, the record drew immediate comparisons to foundational 80s acts like The Smiths and The Cure, yet established its own legacy as an underrated gem of the 2000s indie rock landscape, later winning the 2025 Polaris Heritage Prize.
