The Revillos' 'Rev Up' continued the cartoonish sci-fi rock-and-roll energy that Fay Fife and Eugene Reynolds had developed in the Rezillos. The album blends punk speed, surf-pop hooks, and B-movie imagery into a deliberately hyperactive new wave package.
