Warp Riders

The band's third studio album, 'Warp Riders', is a science fiction concept album centered on an original narrative by frontman J. D. Cronise, marking a conscious shift from their established doom metal sound to a more riff-forward, hard rock style. Produced for the first time by an outside collaborator, Matt Bayles, the album features a more polished and accessible sound that complements its space-opera themes of death and rebirth. The record was a notable commercial success and represents the final studio appearance of original drummer Trivett Wingo.
