Released shortly after the band dissolved, this sole full-length is widely credited with inventing the funeral doom subgenre. The album's suffocatingly slow tempos, extremely down-tuned guitars, and abyssal vocal growls created a template of oppressive atmosphere and mournful soundscapes that inspired an entire movement of extreme doom metal.
