This split release brings together two titans of the post-hardcore world, New Jersey's Thursday and Japan's Envy. Thursday contributes three new tracks of their signature emotionally charged rock, along with a remix by Anthony Molina of *Mercury Rev*, which sees them exploring more atmospheric and instrumental textures. Envy counters with three epic pieces of their own, blending cinematic post-rock with visceral screamo to create a sound that is both beautiful and devastating. The result is a powerful and cohesive release that highlights the distinct yet complementary styles of two influential bands.
