Formed as a side project by Bauhaus members Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins, 'Pop' acts as the sole studio full-length from this short-lived outfit. The record eschews the overt gloom of their main band in favor of eccentric, cinematic arrangements that incorporate synthesizers, fuzz guitars, and surrealistic lyricism. It stands as a unique bridging point between the collapse of Bauhaus and the subsequent formation of Love and Rockets.
