Album Notes & Community Reviews

Train Breaks Down delivers a masterclass in controlled chaos on 'Weight of the Reality Beneath'. Forging a path through the emotive landscapes of midwest emo and the abrasive territories of screamo, the album bristles with raw, nervous energy. Angular math rock guitars twist around frantic rhythms and passionately melodic passages, all while a desperate, cathartic vocal performance grounds the record in profound melancholy. It is a gripping, highly technical, yet deeply vulnerable post-hardcore triumph.
