Operating as his sixth full-length album, 'Noise Face Landscape' compiles tracks constructed mainly between 2020 and 2026. Japanese video sampler and pianica player Videotapemusic layers field recordings and dialogues sampled from discarded 1990s VHS tapes over exotica, dub, and orient-inflected downtempo grooves. The album's warm, analog textures are bolstered by guest appearances from regular live collaborators Emerson Kitamura, mmm, and Korean folk singer Lee Heemoon.
