Directly inspired by the early 20th-century Italian Futurist movement and Luigi Russolo's 'Art of Noises,' this severe experimental work is constructed entirely from the sounds of heavy machinery. Jean-Marc Vivenza utilizes unedited field recordings of factory engines and metallic clatter, looping them into punishing, deeply rhythmic industrial compositions. The purely brutal, anti-melodic approach stands as a rigorous, philosophical document of the European noise underground.
