Self-released by the Danish quartet, this debut album brilliantly fuses the polyrhythmic, chugging heaviness of modern djent with the sweeping, synth-driven melodies of 1980s pop and alternative rock. Asger Mygind's lush, entirely clean vocal performances provide a stunning contrast to the complex, crushing guitar riffs. The album's sleeper success led to a physical reissue the following year and significant international touring.
