Built around a preset rhythm discovered on a cheap Casio MT-40 keyboard, this monumental release fundamentally altered the course of Jamaican music. The fully computerized, heavily synthesized production completely abandoned traditional live reggae instrumentation, giving birth to the entirely digital era of dancehall.
