Formerly associated entirely with underground plugg and auto-tuned trap, the Florida-based artist executed a shocking stylistic pivot with this full-length release. Working closely with producer Fish, he fully adopts a 1980s new wave and synth-pop sound, delivering heavily stylized, melancholic vocal performances concerning addiction and profound isolation.
