Immersing themselves entirely in a suffocating wall of fuzz, the Bay Area outfit delivers a monolithic, heavily distorted shoegaze record. The guitars are pushed so aggressively into the red that the melancholic, whispered vocals are almost entirely buried, creating a dense, overwhelmingly lethargic atmosphere.
