A Somber Funeral

A Somber Funeral is a German atmospheric post-black metal duo formed in 2023, based in Kaiserslautern. Consisting of members Chris R. (vocals/bass/synth) and Alex J. (guitar/drums), the studio-only project focuses on themes of grief, melancholy, and longing. They have released a debut album Summertime Sorrow (2024) and Since You Left These Shores (2026) through Silent Watcher Records.
