acloudyskye is the solo project of Skye Kothari, a producer, singer, and songwriter from New York. Known for a genre-defying sound that merges melodic dubstep with the atmospheric textures of post-rock, indie, and industrial music, Kothari has gained acclaim for his ambitious, narrative-driven work. He is also a 3D artist and animator, creating the cover art and an accompanying fictional world called "FIRST ENCOUNTERS" for his albums. His releases, such as 'There Must Be Something Here', are often conceptual, exploring stories within this post-human universe and showcasing a transition from pure electronic roots to a hybrid rock sound influenced by artists like *Godspeed You! Black Emperor* and *Daughter*.
