Batushka (Батюшка)

Batushka (Батюшка) is a Polish black metal band formed in 2015 by Krzysztof Drabikowski, known for blending atmospheric black metal with Eastern Orthodox liturgical chants and imagery. Their debut album Litourgiya (2015) achieved significant acclaim for its unique, theatrical style, featuring Church Slavonic lyrics, robes, and masks. The band is famously split into two rival factions due to a legal dispute.
