Bernie Glow

A preeminent American lead trumpeter, Bernie Glow defined the role of the first-call studio musician from the 1950s through the 1970s. After early road experience with the orchestras of Artie Shaw and Woody Herman, he transitioned to a prolific career in New York's recording studios. [2, 5] Revered for his endurance, flawless accuracy, and resonant sound, Glow was an anchor in countless commercial jingles, film scores, and seminal albums, including collaborations with Miles Davis and Gil Evans.
