An American pianist and songwriter, Bobby Wood is a foundational session musician whose keyboard work shaped pivotal recordings in Memphis and Nashville. His solo career was redirected after a 1964 car accident, leading him to become a core member of the Memphis Boys, the house band at American Sound Studio.
