C.I.A. Débutante

C.I.A. Débutante is a Parisian experimental duo formed by Australian musician *Nathan Roche* and French artist *Paul Bonnet*. Their largely improvised sound merges Roche's deadpan spoken-word vocals and agitated guitar with Bonnet's corroded electronics and synth textures, creating a paranoid, hypnotic atmosphere. Drawing influence from acts like *The Shadow Ring* and *Cabaret Voltaire*, the project explores dystopian themes through a lo-fi, industrial-noise lens. After a series of tapes, they gained wider recognition with LPs on the iconic American underground label #Siltbreeze#, including 'The Landlord', 'Dust', and 'Down, Willow', cementing their place in the international experimental music scene.
